and happiness, which enhances the quality of life.
Sarah began her professional teaching

professionally, singing songs she wrote in concert and in theatre
productions. She applied her artistic skills to set design and her
dance training to choreography. She began her volunteer work in
leadership roles at Eckerd, as a Student Senator, an English tutor,
and Director of the Student Activities Board. Sarah transferred
to the highly regarded illustration program at Parsons School of
Design in New York City, continuing on scholarship, earning her
B.F.A. degree in 1982. She started her career in Florida.
Sarah founded her first business,
Dees Design Graphics, in 1983, which she ran successfully for twenty
years. She served on the Florida and National Board of the Sunshine
Chapter of the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality, a nonprofit
organization devoted to scholarships for young women in hospitality
and business networking.
Now, in January 2006, Sarah is starting
her art business anew as Sarah Dees Art, providing murals, framed
custom paintings and original prints to the public. She is divorced,
and her beautiful daughter Carianne Crystal is beginning her pro
career in the entertainment industry and is home schooled. Carianne

at her own pace and excel in academics, as well as enjoy the creativity
of a home filled with art, music, dance and theatre.
