layout for the
organizations newsletters, creating and producing the Sunshine

Volunteer Work for Feather Sound Christian School (preschool):
Came to school for Career Day to show art and talk to
students about being an artist.
Designed and sewed costumes for Graduation skits and performance.
Designed and Painted Stage Set, Backdrop 18 x 42 and
Teaser curtain, 3 x 18, for production of
The Jungle Book Princess, for Steps School of Dance
Performance, June 2000. Worked with nine children who helped paint
the backdrop, teaching them
painting skills in the process.
For Steps School of Dance in 2001, designed, built and painted four
horses for dancers to dance with for production of Mary Poppins.
Also painted four large flats to appear as interior of home in London,
England.
Painted large mural for entire front of building of Dance Studio,
Steps School of Dance. Mural consists of large decorative words
and portraits of many dancers.
Various groups of children, up to 10 at a time, were organized by
me and other Moms, to form art workshops, which I conducted in my
studio. The agenda was to bring
together groups of friends to share in an artistic learning experience.
I taught painting, drawing and printmaking to the kids.
Volunteer work at Mildred Helms Elementary.
Volunteer work for the City of St. Pete Beach as Gallery Director,
to promote artists.
Volunteer work at Wellington School. Designed and created stage
sets, backdrops, flats and props, for Scenes from the Wizard
of Oz, and Compose Yourself.
Choreography and Stage Manager, teaching dances to children in second,
third, fourth and fifth grades and middle school.
Steps School of Dance; 2003.Created train engine, caboose, railroad
crossing sign for
dance production. Created backdrop of lion face magic cave, magic
carpet,
treasure chest, palm trees, Sultans chair and other props
for production of Aladdin, May 30, June 1.
Built and painted four life size 1950s style cars for ballet
production of Grease.

500 resort condominium units by Maingate of Disneyworld in Orlando.
Sarah Dees designed and painted all original art for units, had
the paintings printed as posters, and worked with Bill
Jonson of The Framing Source to provide all custom framing and installation.
